I'm not sure exactly what's going on with him. Obviously he has battled injuries for about a year and a half. I know there is growing frustration on both sides there and there is also some questions of whether he is a better tackle prospect than some other guys on the roster even if healthy.
If he doesn't get back on the field this season as a starter I would be surprised if he's back next season.

That would suck donkey balls. When Chance is healthy he's one of our better players and has a great deal of talent. If he's still injured I hope he takes the opportunity to RS (if that's an option) and then returns to find a spot on the OL. He's too good.

Trey Smith will be playing guard.
Kendrick or Tatum at RT.
Robertson at C.
Kendrick or Jones at the other guard spot.
Richmond at LT.
Tatum and Jones seem to battling for the last spot.
No mention of Coleslaw Thomas has me in a froth right now

AU has a ton of depth but about 8-9 guys that are all hybrid types that are better suited to play inside and 1 or 2 true OTs that probably need a year as second teamers before they hit the big time. If our OTs can play at or average the average SEC OT then our offense should be pretty damn good.

This is a good year in the SEC for tackles.
UF has their best pair of tackles in years. UF is still a bit questionable at interior OL positions from a talent perspective, but I would put UF's Tackles up against anyone in the conference outside of Alabama this year.

Return 4/5 starters
5th spot will likely be taken by one of 2 grad transfers
But those guys are all being switched around and tried out at different positions.
Once everybody has a home and settles into their spots Auburn will have one of the top OL in the SEC, like usual. Too much talent and depth not too.
Braden Smith has All-American, 1st round potential. Especially if he plays LG and not OT.
Austin Golson has All-SEC potential.

Tackle is scary to me. Malone is a senior, but I am not sure if he will even be drafted. Weathersby should be solid but has had trouble with injuries. Deculus is the only guy on the team I look at and see a real tackle that could be a high draft pick. Interior should be good, not really sure about the tackles though. Who knows, maybe they will be fine.
Agree. Interior will be solid. RT will be fine if Weatherby can stay healthy. Don't have a lot of confidence in the LT position though and it happens to be the most important, so I'd say right now middle of the road.

LT - Prince Tega Wanogho

Yeah, no way Tega starts this season. He'll be in line to be starting LT in 2018 though IMO. But for this season he definitely needs to be coming off the bench to gain some experience.
OT will have to be jerry rigged to get through this season, but the future of the position looks pretty good.
Prince Tega, Prince Sammons, and Calvin Ashley are all monsters that have the potential to develop into 1st rounders. But unfortunately none will be ready to start this year.

Auburn has two Princes on their team?

Yes. Both are Nigerian. Apparently that's a pretty common name over there.

Close to the worst if not the worst. Our Lines are our biggest weakness

I think we will be great at run blocking from the start of year, but keeping people off Eason is gonna be an issue for a while. We have more talent there than anytime last 15 years but it's all young.

Mizzou's OL is looking super good this year. We didn't have any seniors and very few upperclassmen last season and we were still ranked highly within SEC ranks.
Our tackles, Paul Adams and Tyler Howell are studs. I remember Adams coming in as a RSFR in 2015 and silencing Derek Barnett. Howell is a giant that never loses his ground and rarely gives up hurries or sacks

Too many guards. We're fricked in pass coverage. Should move the ball on the ground though.

is that big polynesian kid finally gonna break out?
Posted on 7/11/17 at 9:31 pm to Uncle Gunnysack
He's shown a lot of promise. He's definitely a road grader at OG, but they tried to move him to OT last year. I think he will really show out this year at LG.
