Younger borther of Dalvin, Top 2 believed to be FSU and UGA. Said he will make a final decision in December.
UGA believed to be selling him on the prospect of being the Sony Michel to Zamir White's Nick Chubb

You already have like 12 4/5* rbs on your roster or committed.

What kind of beta gets sold on being Robin

Nope. We have the Motor City Black Man, and you can't have him.

Phil Steele ranks Sony Michel as his 11th best RB in the country with Chubb being 7th. Being robin at UGA beats being Batman at most other places (plus he'd be robin at FSU behind Cam Akers anyway)

If being a Beta means Thomas Brown, Keith Marshall and Sony Michel, I'll take all the Betas I can get on my roster.

Dude it's great for UGA, it's just interesting that a dude whose brother is a superstar and is nearly a 5 star himself is being sold on being the other guy in a class. If UGA can pull it off more power to em.

He just got a 2 year extension and a nice raise for a reason and I don't think it's because he taught Sony Michel and Nick Chubb how to be good running backs

I am fascinated to see how long the "be next Michel/Chubb" pitch works. Will be interesting to see if ya'll can continue to find that balance with backs. If so McGee is gonna be a serious pain in the arse

Well, the pitch to Chubb and Michel was "be the next Gurley/Marshall" so assuming they can maintain the level of 1000 yard seasons and sick highlight reels, it could go on for a while

And with a much better line

We think he's the other guy.
Never forget that Gurley was 'the other guy' to Marshall in the '12 class.

Chubb was ranked lower than Sony as well. Not by much, but still.

Y'all are going to have a funky looking offense with Eason and Fromm and Fields and Corral and White and Cook and Herrien all on the field at once

It's Chaney. What do you expect?

It doesn't even have to be centered around those 2 guys. They can simply pitch not being a work horse but still getting enough touches to create a name and move up draft boards.
