Bama fans told Auburn fans that Jarret Stidham was shite despite a good showing in the spring game because that was just a scrimmage and he had a no contact jersey.

But a camp with no pads, wearing gym shorts, and no defenders is evidence that Hurts is the Heisman favorite?

I don't often agree with you, but I do this time. As a bona fide Bammer, I hope the guy is All American and a Heisman winner, but I'll reserve judgement till he's actually facing a decent defense.

Well that and the fact that Hurst was the SEC player of the Year and took his team to the title game but yeah, your comparison is TOTALLY correct

Not necessarily... Jalen is battle tested and took Bama to the National Championship in spite of being a freshman and damn near won the game for us... Quarterbaxcks can make drastic improvements over the course of a year... He has made significant improvements and will raise lots of eyebrows this year!!

actually what we said is that he was going against the parcel of jv retards that is your second team defense, and that Betty white could throw for 250 and a couple tds against those rejects, but that like every year under malzahn you idiots get your hopes up based on that garbage. We also then pointed out that Jeremy Johnson had pretty much an identical spring game to stidham the year he was a preseason Heisman lock according to your fan base, and how did that turn out for you? Personally I'm really excited to see you guys pull an Auburn this year. Preseason top 10 with a way over hyped mostly unproven qb plus losing pretty much every decent player you had on defense. It's gonna be perfect

Stidham may be a great QB for AU this year, spring games are tough to judge because it a situational/scripted scrimmage. He has some talented weapons to target in the passing game and he'll have a damn good running game to ease him into the starting job. If JS doesn't pan out, you have a good backup with White.

Hurts was baptized by fire as a true-frosh, keep his cool and did a decent job in getting his team to the NC game. He's no Heisman favorite IMO, but he has experience under his belt and if he improves that passing game just a little, Bama will be in the hunt for hardware again this year.

No, its not but he is the returning SEC Offensive Player of The Year your current rent a cop, Stidham has very little experience.

Jordan Jefferson used to kill it at the Manning Passing Academy.
