OK you have put fire out in the broom closet but the rest of the house is burning down to the ground.

How the changing of ACT scores is being placed on the back burner is beyond me.
Still, Ole Miss is fuuuuucked.

Do you honestly believe the NCAA will revisit this case and Amend that NOA a 3rd time? My God, they caught OM cheating while under investigation the last time, does OM really want them to continue on and drag this out even more with a highly pissed off Investgator again?

Let's not. There's very little chance that happens for a number of reasons. The lawsuit isn't going to make that happen. That's false hope Ole Miss fans are clinging to.

And Ole Miss in their response admitted "the university has concluded that significant violations occurred in connection with its football program over a period of years, including during this investigation". They're screwed and they did it to themselves.

That's exactly what I was thinking. The NCAA could just set up a permanent shop basically at Ole Miss and wait for the smallest of infractions and nail them constantly. Having them there alone would kill recruiting and if they are constantly levying infractions, it would be all over for Ole Miss (not that it ever began for them).

OK, OK, we admit Leo told they truth about Barney setting him up with mutliple boosters and Barney did lie about that. BUT!!! That sumbitch lied about how he got free merchandise from rebel rags.

quote:At the end of the day, why antagonize the NCAA? Why jab a red hot poker up the NCAA investigator's arse? What's done is done, don't force them back on campus to further investigate the testimony of a couple of SA's when you already got caught (and admitted to) infractions during the last investigation.

Damn Cane!
That OM shite was institutional/systematic, 8 coaches + 14 Boosters. No wonder the NCAA found violations while under investigation, the institution didn't know how to monitor a damn thing and there was no system in place to put a stop to the internal operation.

He's already signed a multi-million dollar contract. He now has zero interest in anything dealing with college that's not a coed
Foiled again, Pickle!

Why would it get thrown out? The NCAA will deal sanctions way before that civil suit sees the light of day.
