Why are State fans mad about the Rebel Rags lawsuit?

So I don't get why Miss State or other fans are upset about this lawsuit. Lewis and Kobe told the truth to the NCAA and would certainly never lie to them, so all they have to do is continue to tell the truth and they would win the lawsuit and could sue Rebel Rags right back. Clearly nobody else offered Lewis any impermissible benefits, so him taking the stand would be the best thing in the world because he would talk about all the cheating and money Ole Miss offered but under oath could say it was just Ole Miss and Rebel Rags that was doing stuff. If he was asked under oath if State offered him any money or anything else, he can proudly NO, only Ole Miss did that and there would be no perjury or any consequences because that is the truth. If I was a State fan, I'd be loving this lawsuit and praying it goes to court so Lewis could give his testimony and expose all the corruption of Ole Miss and the alumni. Then he could sue RR and Ole Miss media. Hell, Bama and Oregon's football facilities will be put to shame once Leo donates some of the money he'll win back to the school he loves so much.

Long story short, Ole Miss is fricked.

Whether he was given money by other schools is totally irrelevant to the lawsuit and therefore he will not have to answer questions like that.
This is an American court of law, not the Hotty Toddy bullshite hour.

How would that have anything to do with LL purposely trying to damage Rebel Rags ?
Start by looking up the definition of "pertinent"

Why do OM fans want State fans to be mad about the Rebel Rags lawsuit?

Both fan bases have become insufferable.
These threads would feel at home on the OM/MSU boards.

It isn't a winning case and potentially falls into the frivolous category. That said, if it even gets to point of depositions, Ole Miss fans need to realize the defense will likely have other student athletes who come forward to make similar claims as Lewis and Kobe.
Defamation is going to be difficult to prove. Commercial Disparagement is going to be difficult to prove. Commercial Conspiracy is going to be difficult to prove. All of those things - even in a civil trial where the burden is less - are an uphill battle for plaintiff.

Yeah. That'll go something like this:
"objection. speculative and irrelevant."
"Sustained."

would be the only questions allowed in a case about Ole miss and RR.
You really need to step back into reality bro.

I don't think anybody's mad about it. I think everybody's pretty much just making fun of Ole Miss LOL

Oh yea. Ole miss is fricked.

You do realize that even asking the question is irrelevant to the suit? A non-corrupt judge would limit questions to relevant topics. Whether anyone else provided benefits isn't relevant.

I am not mad. Less than zero percent chance that lawsuit makes it to a court room.
