Seems like there's another board here somewhere that would get alot of good answers to this very question from thousands of other LSU fans who have done this very thing many times in their lives.

There was one LSU fan who set up behind the Quick Grill on the Strip in '15. He was cool as shite. I actually had some smoked boudin I bought in Opelousas and he cooked it for me. Hope he comes back.

A couple of years ago, there was an enormous LSU tailgate off Stadium Drive. Seems like it was near the business library.

Unrelated to your question, but tailgating at the 2011 LSU-Bama game was one of the biggest shiteshows I have witnessed.

The Friday night before was probably the worst I saw between the 2 fanbases.
Did see several fights on Saturday, but it was a really good time, just a drunken mess. I did have a few people threaten me. Wearing oSu shirt when we were #3, but most people were giving me good natured ribbing
I lived about a half mile from BDS at the time.

This! Had a wonderful time at that game with my Gump buddy. I had my LSU gear on and got accosted everywhere I went, was awesome. I was mostly in the Gump section though, I went as his guest. Awesome time, all the people I met were great, even after the game.
