Will they actually host? I remember that time they had to move it to Indiana because the NCAA said the stadium wasn't good enough.
ETA: Crap, quoted the wrong city. I meant to quote Lexington, not Louisville.

They've hosted their share of regionals and super regionals.

It is what I like to refer to as the B1G bias game
They did the same thing to UK the year they moved that regional to Gary IN (just outside of B1G HQ in Chicago) for Purdue (about 120 miles away)

Outside of always getting stuck in a regional with FSU I like Auburn's chances to make it to Omaha against that slate.

I wouldn't call that bias.
Purdue won the Big 10 regular season and the Big 10 conference tourney. They were 45-14 overall and 17-7 in Big Ten play.

You mean CSF. I remember that game and the GW HR against Lville that looked foul.
CSF's next game that year was against Vandy in the CWS. Good times.

B1G baseball was a force back when B&W TV's and movies were still the norm. What have they done since?

There is still no bias. That league rarely hosts regionals and they are only rewarded with regionals when a team has a great overall record and has a strong RPI. That is why they likely will go without a host site this year, which is normal. Maryland is leading the Big Ten currently, but do not have a strong enough resume to host a regional. Recently, only Illinois, Indiana, and Purdue have been host sites for regionals out of the league.

My bad. How could I forget CSF after spending so many rain-delayed hours listening to this psychopath last year
