As always the SEC is being linked as the best possible destination
If this happens would this mean Bama and Auburn would move to the East
Then would Bama and LSU stay playing every year
Who else would Bama play in the West. Definitely not Ole Miss or State. Not enough meaningful history.
This would be the end of the annual arse kicking of Auburn and Florida
Would LSU fans trade Texas and Oklahoma for Auburn and Florida

Do you prefer frosted or plate?

Isn't Oklahoma legislatively tied to Oklahoma State?
Also, no thanks on Texas.

Not so fast my friend.
If the SEC expands, it will be eastward.

Lol Texas won't be joining the SEC.

This league is brutal enough as it is, but on the bright side, LSU fans would actually get to see Herman coach a game in Tiger Stadium

Sorry to say I would rather add Texas than any ACC school because you keep the other conferences out of there
The SEC cannot allow the ACC or BIG into Texas

Oklahoma is a package deal with Okie Light. Texas is success cyanide.
You would have to lay some rules out there for A&M, Arkansas, and Missouri to not break into laughter and black ball Texas right now.
They are football cancer.

Corso has always been stupid.
Now he is senile too.
We don't want or need Texas in our conference.

I doubt Arkansas and Missouri would do that because why would they throw away money

There's only one school in Texas remaining that moves the dial at all in terms of viability for those conferences...and that one school is so toxic that they don't want it.

I read awhile back that the BIG 12 is in bad shape. If they continue down that road they might break up.

Relocate the SEC head office to New Orleans for the remainder of the conferences years and I'll bet plenty we at LSU will see swift results in a variety of needed areas.

Your bullshite doesn't work
If you want to paint the picture a certain way then use some other colors. A&M has been in this conference long enough for the SEC to see who they are.
This is about money and keeping the SEC on top.
Football is King and if both universities want to be in the SEC then I am all for it and I know LSU is because for one reason it keeps other conferences out of Texas and second it keeps money it LSU's pockets because the SEC then can demand pretty much what they want from any network
Who does that leave outside of the SEC
Ohio State, USC and ND
Two of those programs reside in the Rust Belt

Texas still has almost a decade left on the Longhorn Network deal. They will not be joining any other conference while it still exists.

I guess the Grant of Rights to the conference is what is keeping the conference in tact
Lee Corso works for ESPN I do not believe he would say that unless ESPN wanted him to
I believe ESPN wants to get rid of the network and the only way they see how is putting them in the SEC

The Big 12 has been in bad shape since 2009.
I think the thing that really started our wanting to move was the disgusting way we were treated in the 2009 season.
I can't repeat this enough, but during the regular season, A&M was only televised in any form 6 times out of the 12 games in the 2009 regular season. Out of those 6 games, two were on effectively a pay channel with only a 480i feed at best (Fox College Sports - Central).
New Mexico - No TV
Utah State - No TV
UAB - No TV
Arkansas (Arlington) - ESPN2
Oklahoma State - FSN National
at Kansas State - Fox College Sports Central (PPV)
at Texas Tech - No TV
Iowa State - No TV
at Colorado - Fox College Sports Central (PPV)
at Oklahoma - FSN Regional
Baylor - No TV
t.u. - ESPN
A&M was the least-televised team in college football and the ONLY Big 12 team in 2009 not to appear on ABC.
