Georgia beat North Carolina in football. It's > than being B-Ball champions

Georgia beating North Carolina in football last year made me happier than if Georgia had won the NCAA basketball championship.
Chubb taking that toss sweep to ice the game made me lose control and yell like a maniac. No basketball game ever could make me do that.
In fact I can hardly stand to watch basketball. Foul shots are boring and half the time the way refs determine a foul baffles me.
Football is more important than basketball.
Basketball and baseball are just a way to fill in time until football get here.

Nor would one discount the benefits to the program resulting from a national title in basketball.

An out of conference game that takes place at the beginning of the season is meaningless in comparison to a basketball title.

I more or less meant that football is the number one sport I want to succeed at UGA, but a title in basketball or baseball would be pretty good.
As fun as it was bragging about our gymnastics and equestrian teams women's sports/fringe sports aren't nearly as pride inducing.
