Why don't you just frick off! You have brought zero logic and input into this topic, zero other than being a complete dip shite in showing an apparent personal hate for Coach O. Why don't we give the man and this coaching staff a chance before you go off all flaming!

The O hire was made on the cheap. Period. He's a garbage HC.

In hiring Orgeron, LSU is paying the head coach less, but using the same overall philosophy it had with Miles -- pay top dollar for coordinators and let the head coach be the CEO. The bonus with Orgeron is that he is an excellent d-line coach, and appears willing to let the coordinators do what they do, and not meddle with the offense like Miles did. If Orgeron is able to maintain recruiting success, which was never a problem with Miles, then LSU will be fine. At least until it makes a bad hire at coordinator.

Wut? Did you read the thread? I was boasting about coach O. It's the whole damned point of the thread.

Honestly, I don't know what to think. Has Orgeron truly learned from his past mistakes? I don't know. Is Canada really as good as advertised? I don't know.
The only thing that seems apparent is that Aranda is very, very good.

Yes - there is no doubt. He's fantastic.
I agree with the rest, though I think, like I said earlier, at worst Canada is average/above average and creative. That alone is an improvement.

I think the group will do a good job. As we know though, the teams have to turn out to be elite to truly be considered a success. We probably only consider 3 programs to be elite right now so it is a tall order regardless who is hired at any program. But will be interesting to see if the crew can do it.
Aranda will do his thing. Obviously expect Canada to be an upgrade. Have to make the plays on game day.

If he lets Aranda and Canada do their jobs then they will be very good. O is the perfect guy for LSU.
Agreed. Delegating responsibilities to those you pay will be a nice change of pace instead of micromanaging every aspect of the offense/defense.
I think Miles hamstrung us with conservative play and it inevitably bit us time and time again.
