I want to let you know that we have been complaining about all these shenanigans for years and y'all just said we were wearing tin hats. OM started to have all their athletic stuff handled through outside legal services a decade ago for this exact type of situation. They can claim attorney-client privilege and don't have to surrender anything. And if they had a copy and don't comply with FOIA? According to Mississippi law all they have to do is pay a $100 fine.

What is your definition of "losers"?

Not many would hold the same definition

When you are heads up with other SEC schools for 6 prospects and you sign 1 then year you are a loser...

I can understand their mindset. They are desperate and that's all they have.

It's their latest talking points handed down from Yancy and Chuck. OM has outrecruited us by a mile the last 4 years but we are now to believe they lost out on their biggest targets to us, Bama and LSU.

So you just want to forget the rest of recruiting and focus purely on signing day?

Dear man with tin foil hat:

You still have no clue what you're talking about.

Because ole miss is being childish about all this. The hammer is coming, and it's time for Ole Miss to act like adults. "Sorry, we don't have the NOA" Yeah okay, that buys you maybe 2 more months of people being in the dark

What would you want your school to do in this situation? I have no clue what's in that NOA, but if there is stuff they think is untrue and they can prove it or want the opportunity to try, it makes sense to avoid having it publicized right now. Yes, after all of that has gone on I personally want everything to come out so I know what the NCAA has and a realistic idea of what kind of punishment we will get, but my guess is our administration is taking the advice of their lawyers which is what they need to do in this situation. Right now their main focus is figuring out what charges they can fight and how to soften the blow from the NCAA. If I had to bet money, I'm sure there are some details in there about the lack of institutional control and/or Freeze's role in the situation that the administration feels are either incorrect or can't be proven and they feel they can get those charges cleared, so why deal with 2+ months of the media talking about it and the bad publicity? I'm pretty pissed at our administration for how they've handled this whole thing, but in this instance I understand their reasoning.

That's just because Mullen is the suck at recruiting. We literally had no class this year and yall still barely out recruited us. You literally had the state to yourself.

But yes we lost out on signing day to big time recruits year after year. If we were cheating more than anyone else, wouldn't we win those?

Because the are smart enough to know to not invest their future on a program that is falling to the ground. Some things money just can't buy.

Maybe you lost out on those because either the kids and/or their parent(s)had sense.

So I'm wearing a tin foil had but you believe Leo Lewis went to State for free but Cam got paid to go to Auburn?

Auburn wasn't under imminent harm from the NCAA while we recruited Cam

Then why didn't he go to LSU?

it doesn't fricking matter. You used Cam Newton's recruitment as an example. Auburn wasn't under suspicion from the NCAA. Y'all are guaranteed to get severely hammered. It's pretty damn simple to everyone not wearing red and blue why Leo went to State over OM.

No it does fricking matter. Leo Lewis was being shopped by his mom and went to State over OM and LSU.

Cam Newton was being shopped by his dad and went to Auburn over MSU.

You can't make the argument that Leo Lewis didn't receive money to go to State but make the exact opposite argument on Cam.

And you are basing this off a tape that doesn't mention any of this let's see here. All OM people who claim to have heard the tape say Leo's mom asked for money from OM because State and LSU were paying more vs outside entities who have heard the tape say nothing of the sort was mentioned. Come on man... at some point you have to accept the fact that your message board mods as well as your athletic department has lied or withheld the truth on every fricking thing that has come out.

If I say:

Team A is offering this much.
Team B is offering this much.

Something needs to happen before Day X.

Did I ever specifically ask for money?
