Local news just said that 240 kids were out sick from Asheville High School here in Alabama. Flu has really hit hard around here this year.

It amazes me that there are people who refuse to get flu shots. Even if they miss on the current strain, it still dramatically lessens the severity of symptoms if you actually get the flu.

Tree pollen in Houston is extremely high right now. Allergies are killing me.

Yep, head cold both me and wife. I feel lucky considering what you must be going through, though.

I've been pretty lucky, but I had my round with strep back around December.
The three biggest things that have knocked kids out at work is the Flu (Type A), Norovirus, and walking pneumonia. We typically average about 40-50 out of 1900. Friday it was around 120.

The only time that I've ever had the flu, I got a flu shot. I'm fortunate enough to not work with the general public and most of my office will call in sick if they have a sniffle.
