Why any RB with NFL dreams would go play in that pee-wee offense that doesn't produce pro backs is beyond me. Bama is a direct RB pipeline to the NFL. Asa needs to rethink his decision before it's too late.

Interesting link, no new names but Nadab Joseph as our top target at CB? And no Tyson Campbell? Hmmm

That article reads like it was written by a six year old.

I counted at least three spelling errors in my quick glance.

Folks, just spoke to folks at both schools and was told Alabama defensive line coach Karl Dunbar will be at Philadelphia Neumann Goretti and Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco on Friday to see Christian Barmore and Tyler Friday, respectively.

Tyler Friday is ranked #64 overall in the Composite.

Interdasting.

Well this is interesting:

quote:

Defensive lineman Emmit Gooden is no longer on Arkansas’ commitment list, SEC Country has learned. He had been pledged to the Razorbacks since last June, though on several occasions his commitment was brought into question.

Gooden is a 3-star defensive tackle in the 2018 class. He currently attends Independence (Kan.) Community College. In seven games this season, he has 55 tackles and a 4 sacks. He is originally from Brownsville, Tenn.

The Razorbacks offered Noah Jefferson — another junior college defensive tackle — on Wednesday evening. That, apparently, upset Gooden and played a role in his de-commitment. Gooden had also expressed dislike for the 3-4 defense, which the Hogs switched to following last season.

It is unknown at this time if Gooden will reconsider his decision. He expects to sign a National Letter of Intent in December and be enrolled for the spring 2018 semester at his next school.

quote:

UPDATE: Since the initial report, Gooden has said he is committed to Arkansas, according to several media outlets and a now deleted Periscope post. SEC Country stands by the initial report.

Well that’s strange. Hopefully they talk about that on the local Razorback recruiting reports tomorrow here in Little Rock.

Tim Watts on Jarrett Bell:

quote:

He was good at camp but has not had the senior season some had hoped.

A poster on BOL said Bell is having a poor season as well.

From an "insider" on BOL:

quote:

Bama has faded a little for Tyson Campbell since our strong pursuit of Surtain.

Yea he should be a take based off of that film IMO. Big and athletic. Will have time to fill out. Similar to Q. Williams.

Quotes from Tyler Friday's coach:

quote:

"He has not set up any visits yet. Alabama, Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan and UCLA, that would be my guess (for visits)."

quote:

Alabama changed its thinking on Friday's potential recently.

"They're coming to see him as a defensive lineman," Teel said. "That's the first time they've been up there to see him as a defensive lineman. I talked to their defense line coach (Wednesday). They originally offered him as an offensive lineman. He has an offer as a defensive lineman. They want him."

Sorry, was talking about Kerryon Johnson, the RB at Auburn. He was a highly rated in state back that went to Auburn. Roc Thomas was a 5 star in state back that went to Auburn.

We signed Damien Harris in that class. I think we came out ahead on that one.

We signed Bo Scarborough instead. Again, we got the better player.

Pretty sure tOSU has basically conceded Emory Jones and have moved on to Jarren Williams who's committed to Kentucky.

Think he also had 3 INTs. That might be more than he had the rest of the year combined coming in. No big deal. Just FWIW.
