No chance he plays as a freshman here. I don't think we have a s8ngle senior at d end this year

Right but after next year we lose 4 DE. Hall, Watts, Taylor (unless he gets last year back from NCAA) and likely Agim jumps early.
Smith, Guidry, Porter and Nichols (commit) are only ones to compete with as RS Fr. It would be big to get Mincey and Fulwider so they can develop a year.

Lets be honest here, the one who cast the Arkansas votes record is as bad as Berts SEC record. Its sad looking at OK's %, 61%. That's horrible. Can we not find a new 247 guy that will actually do some work?

I will be searching eagerly for a john mincey article later. I would like to see how he feels about it here.

I'm curious too.

Otis hurts his % because he doesn't update his CB many times throughout the recruitment. He picks one typically early and if it's us he hardly changes regardless.
LINK
Example: Brule, Condon, Townsend.
LINK
Ford, Lang.
Basically when we adjust the board or a player moves on he doesn't stay up to date with CB picks.

So are you saying you think Otis isn't as bad as he seems?
Also jcdawg. What made you like the hogs 5 years ago? We were so bad lol. It just seems odd to me.

I think most opinions are spot on, noticed the trend years ago where he doesn't correct those though.

Umm, so Mincey just committed? I don't even know.

John Scott doing well in GA. We were in the mix for the two on July 4th but passed and told them we were full.

Numbers wise it looks like only two more. Possibly three max.
Wren the favorite to commit next at LB and fill that spot.

Great news about Mincey! You can't ever put to much into what the media says, if the player is visiting, you always have a chance.
Quite honestly, it goes back further. The very first time I pulled for the Hogs was when they had Matt Jones, he was fun to watch, and even more fun to play with in NCAA college football. I obviously pulled for the hogs during the 2006 SEC championship game against Florida. It really started with the Darren McFadden/Felix Jones duo, extremely fun to watch. I love the mascot, the team colors, and Fayetteville seems like it would be a lot like Athens honestly.
Another great thing about the state of Arkansas is the very affordable tuition. I'm going to start an online masters from Arkansas next month, and I'm going to take a road trip out there for my program orientation. I can't wait to see the area. My fandom will probably only increase from here.
