One day ... it'll happen for us. One day.
Sucks for now - though we've come a very long ways.

It really is mind boggling how bad we were in sports for the past 100 years

At UGA it's always been about the $$. Folks make fun of us because all of our neighbors have rings. Well thanks to them the $$ folks wanted a better return, thus we rolled the dice with Kirby. We shall see.

Do you remember the Bobby Richardson years or the Frank McGuire years even?

Heaven help every fanbase on this board if South Carolina won it all in football. We would be gloriously insufferable.

Nah. We had a pair of baseball titles to give us a temporary fix.
The effects have been wearing off though.

We strive to win off-season championships, not on field championships.

South Carolina has been trash in the two most important college sports. Their overall winning percentage in basketball and football is a joke.

Seriously though I feel like it takes concerted effort to underachieve as much as we have, especially over the last 15 or so years

What's Mizzou's football win %? Like 52%?
Posted on 1/16/17 at 3:36 pm to theGarnetWay
Idk what it is, but I bet it's better than South Carolina.

We quit paying attention Nov 1st.

I think we vastly overrated our chances to achieve prior to the SEC move.

It's not like we were finishing third in the Big 12 south consistently. Tech was consisntently beating us and finishing higher than us for a solid 10 year stretch. fricking Sand Aggy
And if you're going to say facilities and we were behind the times with them and all that, it further proves my point. There was no reason why we should have been so slow to upgrade facilities

Was actually curious so I looked it up Mizzou-54.5%, USCe-.510
The only major category that USCe leads in is Heisman winners.
