Really? Why is that? Are the SEC-N payout too much for you? Would you have rather had the University of Texas so they could ruin your conference? Sound like you are really bitter about a school that you dominate in football.

I would guess that you never actually attended LSU.

Does anyone else find it odd that the OU fans seem to innundate this board when they beat a SEC team in a bowl? Why is that? The big question is why didn't OU come to the SEC with A&M when it is abundantly clear that they had an open door, instead of Missouri? OU has a dominant athletic program and would clearly compete as well, if not better than A&M and Missouri. Why did the PAC-12 reject overtures from OU shortly after we left the XII? Why hasn't OU been able to leave the XII when it is clear that they want to leave? I just don't understand why a blue blood program like OU has such few options?

I also don't understand why the tu fans feel the need to attempt to demonstrate financial "ownership" of a university in which they loathe? Why is it so important for them to lie about court cases, constitutional intent, etc and act like they can simply "waive a wand" and give A&M's share of the PUF to Santa Clause if they wished? We were lectured to and told that we weren't a rival, and had a 100 years of meaningless game with them. So what gives? Why do you care if we are in the SEC and have a mediocre year in football? How was your year? None of this changes the fact A&M gets 1/3 of the PUF in Texas. Wouldn't it just make your day if a nuclear bomb went off in College Station? Or maybe it would just make you miserable because you would have nothing to direct your penis envy at.

Mad! Lol!

Look, the only thing you OU fans have is shite talking. Do we envy your past success? You bet, who wouldn't? But even your university prrsident has lamented on the fact that in the future OU will be way behind your peers in other P5 conferences when it comes to exposure, revenue and competition. And how you are trapped in an inferior conference. Sure you may win the XII 2 out of 3 years, but compared to the other P5 conferneces it isn't equal and everyone knows it.

So while OU has a storied and admirable past, it's just that. Every school in the SEC has passed you in revenue, will pass you in facilities and will have more exposure for all their sports than OU.

From our perspective it is better to be 8-4 in the SEC than the same in the XII.

So talk shite! Go ahead, but we all know it's all you have.

That’s enough for me, let’s move on.

"I also don't understand why the tu fans feel the need to attempt to demonstrate financial "ownership" of a university in which they loathe?"

Texas fans don’t loathe you, the proper nomenclature would be ridicule. There is no “attempt” to demonstrate financial ownership over TAMU, facts are facts as to how, why & where the PUF comes from. The alleged need? Look no further than this board itself… when TAMU falls short in all other measurable categories, the endowment is flaunted. You asked for clarification & documentation & it was provided.

"Why is it so important for them to lie about court cases, constitutional intent, etc and act like they can simply "waive a wand" and give A&M's share of the PUF to Santa Clause if they wished?"

No one claims UTexas controls the allocation of the PUF, the claim was the The University manages it on behalf of both schools. Lies? It was offered & will be extended again… read the Texas Constitution & the early recorded minutes of senate. You’ll find my great grandfather within those sessions & a clear scenario where TAMC, the bastard child of the Yanks Morrill Act, begged for assistance & presented themselves as a needy, loud mouth nuisance that was forced upon the state & left for the state to deal with. Damn that sounds familiar.

"We were lectured to and told that we weren't a rival, and had a 100 years of meaningless game with them. So what gives?"

You were a rival, just not the #1 rival. Perhaps if you would have put up a better effort. It actually meant a lot. Gimps, court jesters & side pieces have a role in life… to that I would like to formally extend my fullest appreciation & hopes that LSU demonstrates the same as they inherit the role of “dom” in your life.

"Why do you care if we are in the SEC and have a mediocre year in football? How was your year?"

I’ll showcase a lil self awareness (google “self awareness”, it’ll serve you well). Our year sucked, as have the last 7. We addressed that with the termination of our HC. We care that you are in the SEC as you have opened the state of Texas to the powers of the SEC and it’s affected recruiting. Our interest in your follies is a testament to your excellence as the court jester. It’s just too damn entertaining to ignore. The Aggy roller coaster is such a fun ride from afar.

"None of this changes the fact A&M gets 1/3 of the PUF in Texas. "

No it doesn’t, we heard you the first 50 times & no one claims it does. I embrace the role my great grandfather played in securing TAMC’s portion of the PUF. I take pride in the fact TAMC was saved from being shut down & converted to an asylum for mentally challenged negros in despair. The decision factored heavily into the best interest of the relatives in our family that chose agriculture as a means of income.

"Wouldn't it just make your day if a nuclear bomb went off in College Station? Or maybe it would just make you miserable because you would have nothing to direct your penis envy at."

Interesting thought, but we all know what happens when you mess with the balance of the food chain. Penis envy? All good with LSU actually, appreciate their fine efforts as your current dom & hey… who doesn’t like a good gang bang?

Rinse & repeat, as much as life changes it seems to remain the same.

It isn't. It never will be.

Just a reminder that 99% of Aggies said the same thing about A&M joining the SEC when the subject was first broached. Everything from "The Texas legislature won't let it happen," to "No one is going to give up 100 years of history" were common refrains. Then Gene Stallings got involved and shite started changing real quick.

Nope nope nope. It began at the grass roots on message boards. The alumni expressed their wont to join the sec and made the administration listen. The donors followed suit. See, this is because our fans are mostly alumni, so we can get shite done because we donate to and have degrees from our university.

It's pretty funny that this thread brought out the worst in several OU, tu, LSU and bama fans. I love to see that. Keep hatin'!

Maybe posters on here objected, but the vast majority of Aggies wanted the SEC from the time the issue was brought up.

We are different from most fan bases as we are actually Texas A&M graduates and donate annually.

We are rapidly overtaking the longhorns in terms of total graduates, so to think we were afraid of competing in the SEC is a joke.

Nice command of the english language.

We aren't hatin fool.. we are laughing.

The thought of the pawns of a pawn program starting the "grass roots" charge to join the SEC is as comical as anything your mid tier program has ever produced.

Remember we already have a significantly larger enrollment than you with a huge amount of real estate for expansion, unlike your landlocked school.

Enjoy your time in the dumpster fire conference, Little Bro.

You are well on your way to becoming Georgia Tech, without the academic cachet.

Lol, look at this Aggy fool.

A) Real Aggy grads are also aware of your enrollment & subsequent tumble in the ranks of higher education. By all means keep watering it down... you win?

B) On your way to dropping into the pits of public University rankings, take note that UT is ranked higher than GT as an institution.

C) Land locked? Here.. put down the milkman fetish mag & read up on what the real big boys are doing: https://www.bizjournals.com/houston/morning_call/2016/01/university-of-texas-takes-first-major-step-in.html

You rep TAMU well, "FishFearMe"?

Which one of these pawns of life is you?
