Coaches hotseats, that is.
3. Kevin Sumlin
6. Bret Bielema
7. Hugh Freeze
8. Butch Jones
21. Barry Odom
25. Kirby Smart
Some takes:
I expect Sumlin and Freeze to be gone. Jones rebounds. Odom stays the course. Kirby jumps up a few spots.

Kirby's seat isn't remotely hot. Like, it's not even lukewarm. It's cold.

You mean we aren't firing the guy with the #2 recruiting class after one season?

Please hire chip Kelly

Kirby wins his way off this list in 2017.

I feel like I'm the only aggy that doesn't want to fire Sumlin right now

Smart and Odom being on that list is ridiculous. It's just year one.
The others are understandable.

I think Georgia will get a lot of the same next season, but Kirby isn't going to be given the axe that quickly.

Where is Gus? Did he get an extension after making it to the Sugar bowl?

Fan discontent with Bert is pretty high right now but with that huge buyout he's likely here for another two years at least.

I would honestly love to hear your reasons why you'd like to keep em.

He couldn't even get the number 1 class, what a bust

No, but he did get one of the best QB prospects of the past couple years, to go along with one of the best returning teams in the country.

Hugh is not #7 and would be at the bottom of the conference.
Unless the NCAA comes out and shows CHF was the mastermind, he is safe for a few more years.

Sumlin is in trouble this year, I think.
Freeze, Malzahn and Bielema are about in the same shape; I list Malzahn because Auburn has shown to have an itchy trigger finger recently, and if they stumble around early he's gonna be under heavy duress. I think Freeze has to walk a tightrope to make it out, but Bielema seems to have to just avoid a collapse.
A darkhorse pick: Mullen at Miss State. He's floated his name out as a candidate elsewhere, and if they have a big drop off, that might bite him in the arse. State might figure that they are now safely a 7 win program without him, and go find a cheaper guy; maybe a hot young coordinator who could build the program more on the way up the ladder (ie a Ron Franklin type).

Can't imagine Gus Malzahn not making the list.

I didn't make the list

I just don't get this. Freeze is the best coach we have had in a while. As long as he doesn't get fired from all of the NCAA stuff he should be fine. As Ole Miss fans, we seem to forget the 10-3 Sugar Bowl season that we had last year. No, we shouldn't have went 5-7 this year. Too much talent to have that record. But, with all of the NCAA stuff, the injuries, the garbage defense, and the youth of our team, this year seemed to be a recipe for disaster.
