Because GT has such great talent that they can just maul teams at the LOS?
Sounds like you lost alot on this game
Its legal and is a great equalizer vs better players. Isnt it your job as a coach to create an opportunity for your players to succeed?
Its GT for fricks sake

This must be the reason why more SEC teams don't schedule GT.

We play Tennessee next year.

You're a bunch of pussies. FCS and 4,000 student schools have to rely on this dirty cut block shite because they have inferior athletes, Georgia Tech has no excuse.
Cut blocking is like rugby tackling without the wrap up. Everyone keeps saying it's going to save football but when it comes to blocking all of a sudden going low is now a dirty play.

Cut blocks are part of the game. Always have been always will be. Used from little league to the pros.
You can't even have a zone blocking scheme without them
Only chop blocks are illegal as they should be.

Doesn't matter whether it's legal or a part of the game. It's dirty as hell and causes a lot of injuries, serious injuries.
Show us the mother fricking list of injuries it has caused.
You cannot because it has not because if it had it would have been banned already.
like a bunch of God damned liberals at the washington post making up shite.

We play them next season and I think it was a scheduling error. I also don't think we should play Shy Tuttle against them even if he's healthy. I don't want him getting hurt over yet another bs OL maneuver.

Cut blocks have caused fewer serious knee injuries than the shitty turf at Neyland Stadium.

Science has proven Neyland's turf only targets teams from Georgia. Besides that our turf was MORE than good enough for Bobby Dodd.

I actually like Tennessee and generally pull for them. Still waiting on that list of players who have suffered serious knee injuries as a result of our blocks.

He wouldn't make much of an impact. He won't play within the system and will be optioned off.
Let him rest for conference games.
It just means more.

Agree. There were zero injuries this year due to blocking from our Oline. The two UK pansies that went down were being drive blocked up high and they got tangled up with their own players that caused their injuries. Thats the ironic part. Stoops is going to feel like an idiot when we watches those two plays after the fact. Getting pissed at the refs for clean blocking.
You guys can bitch all you want. PJ has been doing this for 30 years now. You seem afraid? And if the SEC stops scheduling GT its because GT beats the SEC a helluva lot more than they lose to them.

Oh and let me address inferior talent thing...GT had two freshmen OL make the ALL ACC team. So in a conference with Clem, FSU etc. we have good players who seem to want to block in PJs offense. Its probably because we drive block a lot too. Yall just hear what is said on the internet and take it as legend.
