He was a great player. The LSU fans base just built him up to be more than what he was capable of delivering. That's not his fault. He sacrificed a lot to stay home and play for his home team at a time when it wasn't a popular thing to do. He deserves praise and the LSU fan base deserves ridicule for their delusion.
