How is Michigan ranked ahead of OSU, when they just lost the head to head?

He's a LSU fan so probably has something to do with the refs

They have 3 wins over team in the TOP 11 dominated 2 of those teams.
They beat both teams playing in the BIG 10 Title game this week.

How cute.. If you don't have anything informative to add to this thread you are dismissed.

I get the whole head to head argument for Michigan with victories over Penn State and Wisconsin...but if we are to consider the "body of work" over the entire season, 3rd in your division really doesn't hold up well for Michigan.
Eye test wise...It is hard to not put them ahead of PSU/Wisc.

1) Alabama
2) Clemson
3) Ohio State
4) Washington
Michigan has no chance nor do I believe that they deserve a spot. Their offense is too bad for them to compete with Alabama.

And lost the head to head to a team with only one loss to their two, presently. Hmmm...

Body of work is that they have 3 wins over TOP 10 teams as we speak.
They dominated 2 of those teams. Really They are no better than Ohio State or vice versa.
The team playing in the Pac 12 Title game they destroyed. They team ( Penn State ) playing in the BIG 10 Title game they destroyed.

So wins vs TOP 10 teams don't matter?
Then schedule like Washington ..... Rutgers , Idaho and Portland State.
Washington has currently played one team in the top 12 and lost to them
Michigan has 3 wins vs the top 10 and 1 loss

So explain to me why you put them over Michigan?

If you argue Alabama should not have played in the National Championship game in 2011 because they did now win their conference,(Most LSU fans on here make that argument) then how can anyone argue that a team that came in third in their division of their conference should be in the 4 team playoffs? Wisconsin might have been ahead of Michigan in the conference making them #4 in their own conference.

Michigan lost to Iowa. Everyone conveniently forgets that
Wisconsin is considerably better than penn state.
I would put wisky in over Michigan because of conference title barely. Even though head to head lost. But actually winning the conference that Michigan is in and having a,aw number of losses trumps that
Michigan loss to iowa loses any leeway Michigan would get
