Shortened version of the above

Hyping Wiley as a great player/difference maker for this season is unreasonable and not reflective of reality (other than we are missing any halfway strong post presence sans Wiley)

Hyping Wiley's future contributions and development is very reasonable and deserves given how he has held up in his situation

Thank you. I never said he was bad or detrimental to the team, he just isn't the player most of us make him out to be.

I'm kind of pissed we didn't run a play for Waddell right there

Waddell is hurt which is why we had him inbound then immediately call timeout

Didn't realize he was hurt. Makes more sense.

I was hoping we triple screened him for buzzer beater fadeaway J

Should have let him throw that pass to Keim. Not sure what the point was in leaving the others in there.

You said he was a letdown. I don't think that's the case. He's not a huge difference maker right now, sure.

We won by double digits, blowing another double digit 2H lead to win by single or lose would cause an uproar

That was my thought. Pearl wanted as big a point differential at possible for a possible NIT.

If the bar is set at announcer hype, Wiley is our best player/huge difference maker, he has been a "let down"

That's not fair to Wiley, but it isn't incorrect by that standard. They act like he can be Shaq dominant and he just isn't there (I mean few NBA guys are at that level)

I guess my personal expectations for him were too high. we were 7-2 before him with a win over a solid Texas Tech team, with our only supposed weakness being size. I thought for sure the 6'11 265 pound 5 star center would be a beast for us. I fully expect Wiley to develop and be a very good player, I guess I was just hoping it would have been this year.

Guy was sitting in senior biology a few months ago. He's not gonna be a superstar that early. An offseason in strength and conditioning and college coaching will do him a lot of good.

Just looked at a tourney bracket.

I kind of like our potential setup. Could get a couple wins.

I doubt he will ever be there, but with a little more experience and the offense moving through him regularly, he can be an easy 15 and 10 big that creates open looks for our shooters. He is also pretty good defensively for a freshman. I'm excited by what he will do next season.

So weird little stat about opponent FT% vs AU

In 18 games vs SEC opponents

80+% - 8 games (9 if you want to round 79.4% MSU up)
85+% - 5 games

12/18 games, opponents shot better than season FT% avg

<60% - 5 Games
60-69% - 6 games
70+% - 7 games
