Why is Aggie rooting for Bama?

Y'all need them to lose twice anyways and force championship weekend on the final weekend. Auburn would have to win the iron bowl while y'all beat us. Aggie gonna aggie

Because the CFP playoff is new and we don't know for sure what benefits us most yet, there isn't consensus.

A two loss Bama team is still in the top 10 by seasons end. Y'all have the resume built already so that can't be a big hit on A&M. If Bama were to lose this weekend then A&M would remain at #4 and Bama at #5. If Bama only loses to auburn on the final weekend and A&M loses to LSU then auburn jumps everyone to be the only sec team in the playoff

Because most feel LSU AND Auburn beating Bama is less likely to happen then Bama/A&M winning out. Bama only losing to Auburn OR LSU hurts us.
If you and Auburn both beat Bama I'm all for it. Just don't see it happening.
A&M certainly isn't guaranteed to win out, so I'm gunna cheer for whoever is playing Washington/Clemson/OSU/Louisville and see how the cards fall.

Alabama has owned LSU for the past 5 years
LSU has owned A&M for the past 5 years
Since A&M is unable to talk shite about LSU, they dick ride the one team that LSU can't talk shite to.

Alabama has beaten LSU. A&M hasn't. They want to have something to throw in LSU's face.
And it can somewhat help them this year. Doesn't explain how hard they were pimping Alabama previously but it does help provide some motivation for now.
