Just started seeing them around the screens. How do you get rid of them? I've used hand vac usually but don't like yo spend everyday doing it. I know not to squish, smells awful.

Are you sure you're talking about Japanese beetles?
Sounds more like you have stink bugs.
ETA - If they're stink bugs, I've heard that you can rub dryer sheets on the screens to keep them away.

Another repellent is peppermint. Of course, if you use it you'll draw a bunch of ants.

Not as good as the original British ones, imo.
"She Roves Me, yea, yea, yea". just doesn't sound right.

You have asian ladybeetles. I grew up with the motherfrickers. Not much you can do prevention wise. My mother would spend the afternoon vacuuming and swearing with these damn things. She called them japanese beetles as well.
If you could figure out who the congressmen were that put forth the proposal to import these damn things, you could stick a barbed dildo up their arse(es). It wouldn't help with the ladybeetle problem but it might make you feel better.

The Asian ladybeetles don't have an odor, and the Japanese beetles tend to stay on my hibiscus.
The ones I've had on the screens this year do stink if you crush them. Brown marmorated stink bugs.
We've also had a lot of kudzu beetles around since they were first confirmed in this part of the state 4 years ago.

Neem oil makes them literally lose interest in eating and reproducing. Completely natural.

We get those every great once in awhile. I'm pretty sure they're coming in through the fireplace that we never use.
