Would Kiffin thrive under any SEC coach other than Saban?

Would he have the players he has now?

Depends on if that team has about 12 All pros on the defensive 2 deep.

Coaching has never been his issue.

Damn good question!
He has been a good OC at other places so I would say probably so.

I think he could. But it would have to be a coach that he admires. Otherwise, I think he'd could cause chemistry issues. It could just be judginghim by his face, but kiffin has a weaselly look. I could see him undermining a coach he didn't respect tremendously.
So maybe.
So maybe.

He'd be decent but he nobody would be praising him as an offensive mastermind. Certainly there would be no discussion about him getting a 4th head coaching job.
If Kirby Smart didn't serve under Saban nobody would have considered him a defensive mastermind either.

There is no way he'd be an assistant to someone he views as his lesser. He has too much ego, plus why make a lateral move? That would just open the door for Sark to surpass him here too.
