Fournette would have to go an insane run in Novemeber to get an invite. I don't think he will play enough in all 4 games to do that

You know this isn't the case. If this was than more defensive players would earn invites.

LF7 has the biggest stage of any of the other contenders especially if LSU can get to Atlanta. Henry did it because of what he did in that same time frame roughly and Jackson has no big games nor does it look like he has any chance to play in the 1st week of December.

If he goes off anywhere close to what he did against Ole Miss, he will be #1.
Fournette probably needs 1000 more yards and 15 more TDs to even be invited. It's unlikely.

I would say UL has about the same shot at LSU as of playing in a conference title game, which is slim.

Who cares? Espn is trash, the Heisman is a trash award.

For Allen to have a shot Saban needs to put him on punt return duty

Henry had also played a full slate up to this point and was either near or over 1,000 yards.
Only thing really in LF's favor is there aren't that many contenders besides Jackson and Browming right now

They were comparing Allen to Suh and through 8 games Allen is even or ahead of him and Suh finished the season I think they said with 1 Int and no return yards where Allen already has 2 TDs and 105 returns yards.
Allen should get an invite. There aren't that many outstanding offensive players (with the stats to go along) this year, outside of Jackson and Browning.

No. Jackson has already played well in two big games and has played well all season. That would put Fournette amongst the contenders, but Jackson would still be far and away the leader.
The Heisman sucks enough as it is, at least make guys play a full season to obtain it.

I really wouldn't. Didn't care last year either. The Heisman has become so devalued over the last 10 years, it's lost all its allure. Even so, guys like Paul hornung won the award simply because they were QB for notre dame.

@Wake
that is 0.00000000001% of happening

If Allen makes it to New York it is a successful year.

Teamrankings gives UL a 6.4% to win the ACC, LSU a 5.6% to win the SEC. Now this is winning it and not making it to the title game, but, like I said, it is similar.

You think LSU has a better chance of making it to Atlanta? LSU would have to win out (<50%) and Auburn drop a game (~75%).
