Those kids from LA workout for us at a very high rate. Good size for a back. Looks like he has a frame that will fill out.

That's what makes L5U fans hypocrites.
Where are the posts about this kids not being welcomed in the state? Where are the posts telling his family to get out and threatening them never to come back?
Yet when they take a 5-Star out of Texas they don't feel it's betrayal or that the kids is a worthless being.

We get to choose who is welcomed back and who isn't. It's not that hard to understand.

In fairness, I wouldn't want anyone back who willfully lies and deceives, and that certainly doesn't describe all of the guys who left the state.

The Aggies have a long history of recruiting under the radar players from Louisiana and the majority have been good contributors.
With the Aggies holding camps in Louisiana now, this trend will continue.
After bringing in Trayveon Williams last year, I trust our staff to recognize talented RB's that fit our system, regardless of his star rating.

From 2012-2014, A&M got five three star recruits from Louisiana. Obioha, Claiborne, Ellis, Wilson, Washington. Wilson is a stud. Washington is currently our best LBer. Ellis has played a good bit at nickelback. Obioha was a 4 year stater. Claiborne was our best LBer as a freshmen before getting kicked out of school.
That's an amazing hit rate. We've done very, very well with 3 star recruits from Louisiana.
