Any chance he'll be A&M bound after his Blinn stint?
Posted on 10/2/16 at 8:41 pm to Mr. Elvert
99% the Ag sites report on him liked he's committed already

A&M better give him a starting job or he will leave, he doesn't like to compete.

People usually change their tune after juco. He's talented enough to start or get a ton of PT. Bama missed out.

He is very talented. Bama didn't miss out though. He was going to play this year, he just didn't think it was enough. Redshirt freshmen don't get to call the shots

You do realize he got buried in the depth chart.

Oh well. I'll gladly taking Bama rejects.

People the don't immediate start as a freshmen never ever turn out good ever.

Sheffield left Bama?
must be a tough day when 5-Stars leave your program and all you have to say is, next 5-Star up.

He reminds me of Alonzo Lawrence. If nothing more than for the scenario under which he left. Tons of talent but leaves after a redshirt year, seemingly because more top prospects were added in the class behind him. Would likely be playing right now anyway. And potentially starting next year.

By buried do you mean "Starting nickelback" because yeah, that's what he was going to be.

I'm not so sure about that. But he would be playing a good bit.
Posted on 10/3/16 at 9:33 am to thunderbird1100
Maybe not. I think minkah was going to start at nickel. But Sheffield would've seen the field. Just not as much as he wanted. He was second string, which I wouldn't call being buried.
I hate that he left. But it's not a big deal. A kid has to do what he thinks is best for his future.

Considering he never even practiced at Nickel, I'd say you were wrong

Does anybody know what rule would be a hang up for him transferring to A&M? Our mods have basically acted like he's coming to A&M as long as he would be eligible to play next year. Not sure why he wouldn't be able to play for us next year

Maybe it was dime that he was supposed to play, which is limited playing time.

Over Minkah?
Posted on 10/3/16 at 3:38 pm to KareemAbdul
Exactly what I was thinking. He wasn't going to start over Minkah.
