... entered into a pact with The Flagship University of the Great State of South Carolina and her legion of fans.
It was a great day - Gamecock fans will always be appreciative. Today we're some of the proudest members of this conference ... and we always will be.
This is a conference for true born and bred Southerners - there is no other like it and never will be again.

All we need now is a Virginia school and NC State to have the entire south covered. Plus Missouri for the north.

I'd rather get WVU and Va Tech. UNC won't be going anywhere without Duke and NC state wouldn't be a good addition.
Tv markets in WV wouldn't be a big draw though.

Actually ... NC St and VA Tech would be the best fits culturally.
UNC and UVA would be worse than Mizzou in terms of sheer yankeeness.
WVA is a cultural misfit no matter where they go.
