i can't see dabo or any coach with a good coaching job wanting to be a coach that follows saban. lol bama fans are spoiled with unrealistic expecations like lsu dbags
clemson gave Dabo a chance to be HC when bama or LSU would not have. i cud be wrong but i can't seem him not being loyal to the program that gave him this opportunity. and i think he loves clemson, it is his home now
if you think it about it in terms of challenge, it is more challenging to just win one title at Clemson than win another one at Auburn, or even LSU. history will remember Dabo more if he wins one or more at Clemson than if he just continues to this machine like run at alabama. lol
A Clemson winning a natty is something that is magical, bama winning it is so predictable at this point.

please take dabo after saban leaves. It will mirror LSU after Saban has left. He will come in and win 11 and 12 games for you and probably even deliver a national title that he could never get at clemson. Then eventually your program will rot away thanks to Les jr not being able to keep the amount of discipline that saban instills in players.
Lol. I'm happy with what I've seen already. I'm prepared to deal with some heartbreak. I ain't scurred. Come get that natty Dabo.

Alabama gave him his first chance as a walk-on WR.

Bama will always have those expectations. It is why they have the most national titles of anyone. They expect greatness.
LSU doesn't have unreasonable expectations. Les was fired for a multitude of reasons. his 2007 national title doesn't buy him a life time contract. He stopped competing for sec west titles, he couldn't beat bama again, then he started losing to arkansas and ole miss which isn't acceptable to consistently lose to them.
He didn't help his case by refusing to change. He flipped off the admin by not going out and getting a real oc this time. Les stuck by his buddy, which is a big reason alot of coaches get fired. They get fired for being stubborn and sticking by a shitty assistant.
When you are a top 10 program such as LSU, you shouldn't be finishing with passing offenses in the 100s over and over again. He didn't change how he recruited the qb position and he didn't change out his oc.
if Les had just lost to bama only since 2011 and we had a random other loss each year then les miles still has a job today. Instead he decided he should be hugh freeze and berts bitch.

Saban wanted to come back to LSU before being a complete fool and going to another school in our own conference we have to play every year. As usual, LSU admins with no nuts let the status quo Les stay because he wasn't doing a "bad" job.

lol they didn't even give him a scholarship, but he is going leave the program that paid him a million dollars to be a head coach even though he had no prior head coach expeience or even DC / OC experience, to go back to a college that did not have him on scholarship. lol

Given how much of a bitch y'all pitched when we hired him, you'd think we did.
Why are Bama fans so fricking defensive about their hire?
Why wouldn't LSU fans feel this way?
shite every other team in the country should have been pissed.

you say that now, but when it happens you will be pissed as frick. I was happy with 03 and then 07. Now its extremely shitty that a retard was allowed to waste away so many chances and so much talent.

Whoops, there goes that logic

why would dabo go to LSU if he is recruiting well at Clemson
He wouldn't.
But to claim Clemson to LSU is a "step down" is just silly.

You gotta start somewhere.

LSU is a top 10 job in the country. Clemson is probably top 15 or top 20. I love when posters start spouting off about LSU being a step down.

You didn't offer him a scholarhsip?

it is a step down based the current state of the two programs. in my opinion Clemson is easier place to recruit top talent to, because it is like a resort, plus closer to the northeast.

if you are only talking about money, that is probably true.

LSU can and will pay more than clemson could pay for him and his staff, LSU is in a better conference, LSU is in a better recruiting area. LSU has a better stadium, better practice and workout room as well. LSU also has plenty of talent.
LSU is also setup for long term success, while clemson is clemson
just because clemson is on the upswing as of this moment in no way makes it a better program or job. LSU has always been ahead of clemson, even when we have had down years.

Clemson is easier place to recruit top talent to,
Clemson is a great school and has a great program. Clemson should have no problems recruiting talent. No arguments there.
Now as it relates to comparing the ease of recruiting to Clemson vs LSU, You certainly have your opinion. The experts disagree with your opinion, but you're certainly entitled to have one.
This is all silly talk, Dabo and LSU aren't a fit for many reasons. I just thought it was funny to hear someone say Clemson to LSU is a Step-down .. Certainly not something you hear everyday, or ever.

no way more than money.
LSU: more money, better stadium, better recruiting grounds since its the only big boy in the state, better practice facility, better weight room, and better more respected history.
sorry but LSU is a better job from every tangible aspect. its not a knock on clemson, LSU is just a top tier job.
and if you want to go the city route, Baton Rouge does have shitty areas but considering how much a coach at LSU makes he is either on the LSU lakes or living on highland road. The shitty public schools don't matter since we have U-high and plenty of private schools for coaches kids.
