Don't think we have seen enough quality teams vs quality teams to gauge just yet honestly.

Until proven otherwise, this is the answer. Same answer to "who has the best team in the SEC?"

This is really the correct answer. I was impressed by Alabama's goal line stand against Ole Miss. However, Both Auburn and Florida are looking pretty good too.

The discussion came up because someone was saying Mizzou's line is the best UGA will see all year

I'm not sure about entire line but Valentine and Key are beasts

I would throw A&M's hat into the ring. Myles is the best defender in football. Hall is a solid Robin to his Batman. Our DTs have graded fairly higher and are all pretty highly recruited. We have a strong rotation.

Yeah that is just hard to answer. I guess the popular answer would be Alabama but there are a few that are right there, Auburn, A&M, LSU, Miss St. I would say Florida but man they have played a shite schedule so far.
Garrett 8 total tackles 3 sacks
Key 14 total tackles 5 sacks
He isn't even the best defensive lineman more so the best defensive player in football, come on man

Oh my... I don't know about that. Truthfully though, I haven't watched them, or seen any of their stats. I believe they have a lot of returning talent, but that doesn't always translate into success.

Mizzou likely has two first rounders in Harris and Beckner Jr. Augusta has first round potential, but will likely be 2nd or 3rd.
Pretttttty solid. Not playing as well since switching to the read and react, but Harris finally had a big game against UGA.

How does this defensive line production stack up to others?
55 tackles, 15.0 TFL, 7.0 sacks, 1 PBU, 11 QBH, 1 FF, 1 FR, 1 Safety

I still refuse to believe y'all are serious when you say Key is better than Garrett

Too early to tell. We will know later.
Look at UF for example. Jabari Zuniga, a RS FR at UF, has 4 sacks so far. Does anyone think he is really think he is a top 10 pass rusher in the nation right now?
Let these things play out in conference play a bit.

Nobody has a better front 8 at the goal line than Alabama. Impossible to score on us.
(That's the front seven plus the replay official).

If Key continues at his torrid pace, or even close, it will be interesting to see who makes SEC, AA lists between the two of them at the end of the year.
