From a soccer player/place kickers POV

Hams technique is pretty average. I have very seldomly seen the ball lie flat like his after kicking. The lower on the ball you kick the more accurate the kick should be, but the more wind resistance you get due to the amount of end over end spin you get. He's kicking the ball higher to the center of the football like you should on a free kick in soccer to give it that knuckle effect and keep it low and hard.
I'm not sure if he just needs one good kick to realize he has the power to keep it accurate and high, but something has to happen. Rodrigo's highlight film seemed to be very good technique, but I also know it's such a mental thing if CKS would have taken Ham out after missing that second FG he may have never kicked again.

Well he's got the best CFB kicker of all time as his personal teacher. If KB can't get em straight don't think anyone can

Good against remotes is one thing. Good against the living? That's something else.

The sweet spot of the football is just below halfway.
