Garret also leads the conference in getting held by Auburn.

Pretty eye opening statistics. I've always been disappointed in the way he plays against the run--it's like he's on roller skates. Has Jadeveon Clowney-type bust feel to him.

An offseason stat made worse by the fact that he hasn't even played an SEC team yet. Is he supposed to take off against inferior teams?

They just tackle him. That's exactly what I am talking about.

The problem is Garrett is one of those guys who gets held literally every snap and it would break the game if they called it every time. It's similar to guys like Randy Moss not getting PI called on the guy defending him every play, there would be no point to playing the game.

He must be the first guy ever to play better against easier opponents.

PFF has grading his run stopping high last year and the start of this year. This is a 2 year old talking point that is no longer close to valid.

Can't wait til all the talk next offseason is "What is A&M going to do without Garrett?!??"

He really is overrated. Run right at him. He runs himself out of every play trying to get sacks. We started running that hb delay specifically because of him. By the time you give the tail back the ball there s a gaping hole where he used to be.
