These threads are always weird.

Most of you are from states that have 1 or 2 FBS level programs. Texans have a different perspective, because we have a bunch of them.

Texas is the elite football program (#3 all time in wins) with multiple post WWII national championships. A&M is like all the rest, one title in ancient times, big record of cheating, hasn't won a conference title in about 2 decades.

A&M, Tech, TCU, Baylor, Houston, SMU, etc, they're all the same. As long as we play one or two a year, we're doing our part to give the lesser state schools some exposure. Texas has no in-state rival because we have no in-state peer.

texass ran away from our rivalry game and said "uh, our schedule is full, that's why we cannot play Aggie anymore". But they had 2 open slots on their schedule

You're right, texashorn.
When the SEC offered us conference membership, we should have remained in the BDF, thereby avoiding false accusations from a few uninformed message board patrons.
Admit it: You're the top decision-maker during your shift at the job, aren't you?

If you have a dollar you can get coffee and the series advantage over Texas A&M. We were a small military college most of our history, with big games often played on the road.
