I know this is an easy troll subject, but I am trying to get some real answers. How do you view your university and are you concerned about its long term future?

Nope. Not at all.

It happened. We're experiencing a little blowback from it right now. It'll even out soon.

The real question is: Is the SEC worried about Mizzou football kicking arse this year? If not they should be.

no, attendance will recover. It will just take some time.

No matter what the idiots here think, Mizzou is a quality institution.

Chickens come home to roost... U Moo is just another clueless left wing diploma mill. Pay out-of-State tuition and study ... journalism? Really? That choice fits right in with mind set of the silly yahoos who apparently control the U of Moo. Chickens come home to roost indeed...

Now that the protestors little group has fallen apart, the real change makers, likely a coalition of students from all cultures, will address any true issues...

WTF is this shite? "A coalition of students from all cultures.." will make and set policy at U Moo? WTF? I think we have an insight into what the ongoing problem is at U Moo. It wasn't the protestors, it was the lame administration response to them. God... am I back in 1968 again?...oops I was in Vietnam that year. I suggest you all just leave the conference and go where your mind set fits.

I think the residential hall closures are a separate issue all to together.

The 3 dorms were closed due to new ones being built in their place, and those 3 are due for demolition.

1400 less students at $30k= $42 million. Not a big deal.

Also I'm not worried about a drop in enrollment. I think the boom was not a good thing and we didn't have the faculty and resources in place to support. Thus the academics suffered slightly.

Aggy president Loftin drove Missouri into the ditch after getting run off from College Station.

Aggy wants to build a statue of a man who made the "100-year decision" to sever ties with state of Texas rivals and get their head caved in in the sec (and who was neck-deep in the Missouri nonsense).

Not worried. It will be over (the enrollment effects) within 3 years.

They missed some during the count. They were tucked away in the safe space zones.
That killed that school

The only place any of this gets discussed anymore is on here. There was a dip this year and it will start coming back up next year. Part of the problem is, a Missouri kid can go to Arkansas for less than he/she can go to Mizzou. Not sure how many do, but I know a few that have just for the savings.

Mizzou will be fine. It's fun to make fun of them over that stupid shite that happened a while back, but at the end of the day Mizzou will produce pieces of paper that are actually worth something.

If I were them I would be of the opinion that surely this will blow over within the next couple of years if everyone just shuts the frick up about it.
