He's currently has us #15 in 2017 recruiting team rankings.

I'm not saying we stay at #15 but if he can start getting top 15 classes here consistently, then watch out. I think he's a great coach, but only time will tell if he can build Arkansas into a very successful team in the SEC.

He padded his stats against the bottom feeders. Look at his record against the top 3-4 teams in that division, it's horrible. We were warned by whiskey fans, brain freezes and poor recruiting

We were warned by Louisville and Falcon fans, but you swallowed every drop Hawgalude.

That is what's so funny about it. He criticizes Bert's recruiting but is a Petrino fan.

He's 15 because of the number of recruits, not the quality. An average of 3 stars, which you currently are, will be around 30th. Which is not going to dominate anything in the SEC. Even when Saban leaves, the other SEC teams are going to out recruit you head over heels. Arky may win a match up here or there, but top 30 recruits aren't going to dominate shite. It's a recipe for 8-4 seasons, with a 9-3 sprinkled in. But hell, that would probably suffice.

If that is the case, what is the x factor in the equation leading to Auburn's 8-5 seasons with "top 10" talent?
Posted on 8/22/16 at 7:10 pm to NorthGwinnettTiger
These LSU goofs will never learn that rankings are only a part of the equation, not an end all be all predictor of future success

I've said several times that Saban is the only SEC coach I would pick over him. I'd love if we could steal him from Arky when Les leaves.

That would be the SECW, SEC and MNC title(s) we have to show...something all the previous teams possess. Top 10/15 talent.

Top 10 talent can overcome shitty coaches. Chizik proved that.

Nice deflection.
Now answer the question.
Take out 2010 and 2014 and Auburn is bottom of the SEC West more years than not and not competing for the division year in and out with "top 10" talent.
So what is the cause of this since your argument is recruiting rankins matter.
Posted on 8/22/16 at 7:19 pm to LC412000
Did you throw up a little when you posted that?... not dogging you, I know it was just an opinion but Lord I can't stand Arkansas. I couldn't post it man

Yes, we didn't have like two back to back seasons of 10 wins with recruiting that bad before

Talking about deflection...
Take out this fact and that fact so my false point might have a chance at standing. The teams that win the SEC and MNCSs are top recruiters...stop bullshitting yourself.
Take out this and that to fit my argument...

So you can't explain why Auburn occasionally finishes better with 10 wins and competes for the west, but usually finishes around 8-5 and in the SEC cellar.
You can't explain how this is possible with Auburn's "top 10" talent, so we are suppose to take your word as gospel that the best Arkansas can hope for it to occasionally compete for the west and finish with 10+ wins and will usually find themselves around 8-5 to finish the season.

I explained why Auburn has seen mountain tops Arky will never experience...it's because we have continously recruited well.
Look at the last decade of SECC winners and how they've recruited. Look at the last decade of MNC winners and how they've recruited. You cannot win the ultimate goal recruiting top 30 teams...that has been proven.
You're wanting to talk about peaks and valleys, when Auburn has seen peaks you hillbillies have wet dreams about.
