A study on America's public water supply shows that Missouri, Arkansas and Louisiana are the only states where toxins were not found in public water systems that were tested.

Missouri, Arkansas and Louisiana are the only SEC states with one P5 school. Coincidence? I think not.

Off your topic a bit...

Look at this map:

Now read this line: since government data does not account for a third of the country - and therefore omits around 100 million people.

The white areas are where there's no data. There's no way that accounts for a third of the population. Most of that area has probably less than 1 person per square mile. Looks more like 5-8 million people to me, NOT 100 million.

85% of the SEC footprint is included.

They ignored the high mountain area like most of the country also does.

Most of the high mountain areas have no public water sources.

The section in Western Arkansas is mostly a large swath of mountainous national forest land, so it makes sense that there are no public water sources. The small population that does live there relies on well water.

And the great plains, and the southwest deserts, and crop and ranch land. They left out a third of the country, then came to the brilliant conclusion that 100 million people live in the most remote, unpopulated places in America.

Talk to Harvard about it. Overly educated often lack common sense straight line knowledge.

Meh...if you are cooking with Teflon coated cookware, you are getting plenty of PFAs, anyway.

Sounds like they were only looking at one type of contamination. That doesn't mean the water is clean it just doesn't have that type. It isn't even one of the more common pollutants.

Looks like Mississippi would have been included too if the TVA hadn't screwed us.

It is surprising considering the refineries and chemical plants you guys have.

I use to always wonder why our tap taste so good then when you're in Florida or Alabama it tastes funky. Shocked to find out Baton Rouge water was up there next to Alaskas and shite. Pretty cool but it has to do with our aquifers below EBR and the rock and sediment there acts as natural filtration. So they have to do very little to it.
