Wife/ Girl Friend Diary Entry (no offense intended to Aggies):
August 8, 2016:
Tonight, I thought "this is you" was acting weird. We had made plans to meet at a nice restaurant for dinner. I was shopping with my friends and I was a little late for our date. Conversation wasn't flowing, so I thought he was upset that I was a bit late; but he made no comment on it so I suggested that we go somewhere quiet so we could talk. He agreed, but he didn't say much. I asked him what was wrong. He said, 'Nothing.' I asked him if it was my fault that he was upset. He said he wasn't upset, that it had nothing to do with me, and not to worry about it.
When we got home, I felt as if I had lost him completely, as if he wanted nothing to do with me anymore. He just sat there quietly, and watched TV. He continued to seem distant and absent. Finally, with silence all around us, I decided to go to bed. About 15 minutes later, he came to bed. But I still felt that he was distracted, and his thoughts were somewhere else. He fell asleep - I cried. I don't know what to do. I'm almost sure that his thoughts are with someone else.
My life is a total disaster.
Central Pork's Diary Entry:
August 8, 2016:
I sure hope Austin Allen will be a solid QB for the Hogs. He has some good receivers coming back. But, the picture someone posted made him look like a homo. Was that real?
Geez, I hope the defense can stop the spread offenses.
What are your worries?

Other than offense, defense, special teams, coaching, and intangibles, I can't think of anything that concerns me at all about our team.

I'm always waiting to hear about one of our important players screwing up off the field and getting suspended/kicked off the team. It seems to happen every year. I also get a little anxious about injuries.

Im gonna go with one that a lot of LSU fans probably haven't considered and say our passing game.

I am worried about replacing Kirby the most. After that...QB is a concern, RB is a concern, DT depth is a concern and replacing leaders like Ragland, Robinson and Ryan Kelly is a concern.
We have a ridiculous amount of 5 stars in the two deep but the issues I listed are real.

Good topic. For LSU I have jumped head first into the kool aid that Aranda will get our defense back to elite but I really have no idea what to expect.
* More so than the passing game. Which won't make sense to a lot of people.

My ex-fiance learned that it was in her best interests to cheer for LSU. I am one of those people whose mood is affected by whether we win or lose. I'm emotionally invested in the team, and losses put me in a bad mood.
I was never mean to her after losses, but our house got to be pretty contentious when UGA beat us in 2013 (she's a Uga Alum from Athens). She talked shite for like a week after that game and threw in a "44-41" (or whatever the score was) every time football came up for probably a year afterwards.
Eventually she just started hoping for LSU wins because she knew how important it is to me.
I eventually sent her packing for reasons unrelated to football.

To answer the question in the title, our schedule worries me.
We have to play Bama, at Arkansas, at Wisconsin, Ole Miss, at Florida, MSU and at Aggy.
That's a tough schedule, and even an excellent team could feasibly lose a game or two having to go through that gauntlet.
