Will there always be an SEC Big 6?

Right now it goes LSU, Bama, Auburn, Florida, Tennessee and Georgia. With Georgia being the most undeserving team in the list, does that change if a school outside of these win the National Title?

It would take more than a decade of miserable football for any "Big 6" program to lose their status. It would take more than a decade of very good football for any current non
Big 6" team to earn top tier status.
Yes, its possible. But it doesn't happen overnight. One championship (including a National Title) would not do it.

No school outside of those 6 will win an SEC championship, let alone a national championship.

I agree with this.

There is no big 6. There's one and everybody else. Like claiming Kentucky has a peer in basketball.

National Titles prior to the BCS were nothing more than popularity contest. They weren't great with the BCS but they got it right 80% of the time. If a team outside the 6 wins a legit title then you'd have to group them together.
Unless you want a Big 7. Doesn't have the same ring to it.

Not even close to true. Ole Miss, TAMU, Arkansas and maybe even Mizzou will all have an SEC title. Saban will not coach forever

Bama does not belong to the mythical big 6...all other 13 SEC programs belong to Bama...the record books do not lie.. We'll leave it up to the smaller 13 to determine pecking order

You realize that only one of those teams has even played for an SEC Championship, right?

Fine with me, we're still #1 regardless.

UGA deserves to be apart of the SEC elite a lot more than UT at the moment
I say in 15 years UT will be replaced with another university

It's about to become the Big 3 if UT, UGA, and AU don't pick up the pace.

You might add LSU
Only thing they have been winning is pre season awards lately

No.There is no big six now, just a big one.
The conference still has work to do and distant accomplishment hold no water today... its a a silly notion anyway,....
