Well, recently I've switched from drinking craft beer to making drinks with Vodka (Tito's) or Rum (various kinds) and including fresh fruit.
It has been the perfect summer time drinks as far as I am concerned. Even bought me a Margaritaville mixer, one that makes 6 drinks at once.

Gin and tonic with a little splash of lime was always my summer go to.

I've always been a fan of a good gin and tonic. The well gin just doesn't cut it though. Plus, I'm a sucker for the lime. Good choice, sir.

Tequila. Not even close. I keep Don Julio in business.
Either straight on a ice cube or mixes 50/50 with fresh squeezed lime juice.

Black Strap Rum and Tonic
Two things that you think should not go together but are perfect.

I won't give the standard answer because it's boring. My fiancé has found an awesome drink. It's run, flavored or not, coconut run preferred though. Mixed with the V8 splash Berry Blend. It is that fire. We had it on the lake last weekend and I got 3 sheets to the wind by accident because it barely tastes like alcohol. Dangerous stuff.

My go to is Knob Creek and a splash of sprite at the house. When I am out and know I will get a good drink it is an old fashioned or a crown and sprite, but most of the time when I go out I get beer because I don't go out enough to develop a report with the bartenders.

Lately it's been a Guaro Sour or chili Guaro.

Coconut rum is the shite. Add it to just about and juice and it's golden.
I don't drink it but I make an LPD for my wife with rum, Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka, and pineapple juice that's the tits.
ETA I just started using Agavales tequila to make margaritas. It's fantastic straight on the rocks and like $13 a bottle.

I'm a stotch guy. My casual drink is Chivas. Special occasion/get together is Macallan 12. During the winter I'll do a little Laphroig 10 on two ice cubes.

I was woefully underwhelmed by a bottle of chivas recently. I'd just as soon buy dewar's.
McAllan on the other hand.

my go to liquors are whisky, scotch, and gin.
Makers/Jack/Crown and water are viable scotch alternatives at the bar for me.
Basil Hayden is my go to whiskey on the rocks
Jack and Coke is too American not to enjoy sometimes.
I'm not a big peat fan with scotch so I stick with Glinfiddich 12 and MacCallan 12. If i really want to "treat myself" i'll step up to a 15 in either brand.
Last but not least - i love gin and tonics. Gin and tonics are what bond should have been drinking. a black tux and a gin and tonic = bad arse (potentially)

At home.. just straight up Rum. I keep it in the freezer and just prefer shots.
Out and about.. hard to beat a good Margarita. I have to watch myself. When I was down in Daphne at Boudreaux's last month they had $3 well drinks and I was on #6 before dinner was done.
(they got good food too)
