Do any other sports play their national title game in the middle of weekday?

Football? Basketball?
College baseball is currently playing their national title game in the middle of the day during the week?

We already know UT is garbage at baseball. There's no need to keep reminding us.

College Football even under the BCS Championship

Boy for someone who doesn't like baseball, you sure do have a hard on for baseball.
Btw, this game was supposed to be at 7pm last night but weather delayed it. But solid attempt.

It's also in the summer. There aren't many students missing class right now.

Basketball usually ends up falling on a Monday night with the Final Four over the weekend.

I'd say the logic is pretty simple. It's a best-of series, which means they have no idea ahead of time how many games it will go. So unless they want to stretch the series out potentially to August by only having games on weekends in case the one game turns out to be the title game, they're going to schedule these things with the knowledge that a title game might be played during the week.

Do you not read?
Your entire troll is based on the fact that a primetime game got rained out and moved to today. They want to get the game in so the kids can go home. They've been on the road since the start of June

You mean like the opening rounds of the NCAA Tournament, one of the most watched "championships" of all sports?

Some of you need to re-read his post.
And the answer is no. None of the important sports have their championship game at 2:00 in the afternoon.

Why couldn't they have played it tonight? Cuts into 2012 World Series of poker replays?
