Ohio state may not have had the number one class in 2013 at the time according to the composite, but I think it's pretty clear now that it was indeed the best class.
Scout had us number 1 - can't really explain why the other sites couldn't recognize how good a class with bosa, eze, Eli Apple, Vonn bell, Darren Lee etc was.
How many commitments did Alabama take relative to the other classes over that period of time? The composite doesn't normalize for class size.
For instance Ohio state's class this year is going to be epic but won't finish number one in the composite because it's going to be relatively small in numbers.

2011 LSU was just as talented as 2011 Bama.
Not according to the data used in your graph.
For the four recruiting classes from 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011, Alabama's averaged a ranking of #2.75 with an average point total of 288.7 compared to LSU who had an average ranking of #7.25 with an average point total of 271.1. That's a fairly wide gap.

If no one cared, your amount of up-votes proves otherwise. Else no one would click the thread. :P

So then was it coaching? How does an undoubtedly less talented team beat an opponent with far more talent? You seem to think its just their "will to win". Well then why has bama lacked this will to win on 10 separate occasions in just six years?
You act like the teams Bama lost to had no talent themselves. Ole Miss, Ohio State, 2013 Auburn, Manziel's A&M, 2011 LSU.......those teams were pretty fricking loaded too and Bama is their SuperBowl....also averaging a loss a year is pretty good given the increasing parity in the SEC and who else has had this level of success? Additionally, we sign a 5* on paper but you really don't know how they are going to work out....Saban is the best in business but not infallible.

No. I act as if Bama lost to teams who had LESS talent than themselves. Which is true. Especially if you believe these recruiting ranking graphics.

It's not just "pretty good", its great. I'm just discussing the topic because you have two separate claims by Bama fans that can't both be true.
On the one hand, there is bragging about the recruiting domination and the gigantic talent gap... evidenced by this post. But if that were true, then there would be no explanation for losing 1.7 games per season other than that your team got out-coached. But when someone brings that up, suddenly the argument switches back from the gigantic talent gap to, "well all those other teams had just as much talent."
It can't be both.

I understand your life is empty because you live in a trailer and haven't accomplished anything in your life. Which makes it even funnier that this is how you find meaning in your miserable life, is rooting for a team that you have nothing to do with or provide any aid to help them succeed.

If its impossible to never lose a game then why does the argument that Saban should never lose a game have credence ???
