Morning Bump.

I see no repentance at all from either Bjork or Freeze. Well Vince Lombardi said it decades ago, "Winning isn't everything it is the only thing," so I reckon Bjork and Freeze have taken him to literal and so, "Dam'd the torpedoes full speed ahead." Deny, deflect, object, obfuscate, oblique and whatever else it takes. Honor has taken a hit at Ole Miss, a huge hit. If you choose to do the crime, step up and be willing to do the time when caught.

You do realize that having Mullen on the committee -- and even ending Freeze's career -- still won't result in a national championship, nor will it likely result in you winning the SEC.
You will continually be crushed by the perennial powers, forever and ever. There is no joy in Mudville for MSU. Nor a slew of other teams in the SEC.
I find it laughable that a fanbase can become so enamored with the prospect of supplanting Ole Miss and being 3rd best in the division. One big circle jerk, thinking about being a runner up. Best school in Mississippi, as if that means diddly shite.
Not that it's anything new, the way y'all tout your baseball program and Will Clark, despite the fact you've never won anything other than a conference title. The entirety of all that blustering resulting in exactly jack squat. Nobody cares about that conference crap; it's winning the World Series or nothing. That's all that matters. That's the only thing true baseball schools care about.

He's like a politician at this point. Thinking up new ways to lie and try to paint everyone else as the bad guy when he and his program have been shady from the start. You don't land Top 10 classes at Ole Miss with no history of winning ....With a high school coach mind you.......without fricking cheating. The world ain't stupid buck teeth frickwad. You hide behind religion you scumbag piece of shite. I hope they bury this twat waffle.

Good Lord. Their story is that they are victims and they are being attacked because they beat some elite teams and outrecruited some elite teams...all the while claiming to "own up to mistakes" - NOT intentional circumventing the rules, just "mistakes".
And then Freeze starts in on the religious act.

How depressing must it be that you will never even reach our level of success then?

It's like they've turned into the Obama administration. Deflect Deflect Deflect, deny deny deny, play the victim.
Can't wait till they start claiming racism.

Actually, I also attended Cal State Fullerton. So, I've enjoyed a national championship.
It's you who will never reach that level of success.

Bjork went pale when Freeze said he got approval from Ross before tweeting out that infamous violations challenge.
One of these fine Christian men are going to be unemployed before the season starts.

What are the specific NCAA allegations regarding Tunsil, Kemdeechee and Treadwell when they signed in Feb. 2013? Wasn't Freeze's tweet the following week asking for any evidence - and he got none?
No one knows what was in the emails because you pussies locked them up. There were 85 emails and 31 still haven't been released 3 years later. What was in the emails that had to be protected?

After more thought - I think Bjork is thinking just go into damage control mode until the punishments are handed down. PR consultants probably advised that being silent is a worse look.
His perspective is likely that it was worth the pain if the facilities are improved, as long as they don't get hammered too bad.... The wins on the field provided momentum to upgrade facilities, which helps the program in the long run.
However, I still can't see how multiple level 1 allegations can be characterized as simple mistakes.
Freeze is going by the playbook. But sometimes I wonder about that relationship as if Bjork is really pulling the strings. Bjork is a pretty young guy.

Well Bjork does have plenty of learning experience in dealing with NCAA infractions. He was in the Miami athletic department during 2003-2005 and he hired one of their former basketball assistants at WKU under a cloud of NCAA improprieties.
WKU Herald 2011
"The NCAA said it had been investigating the Miami situation five months before the Yahoo! report was published. Even so, Bjork said WKU had no inkling that these potential violations were surfacing when they hired Morton.
So, naturally, Bjork said he was "surprised" and "shocked" when he first heard about the allegations."
Then 2 years later: WKU's Jake Morton resigns amid NCAA allegations

Re the comment that Freeze got no responses to his challenge to send any complaints to the Black Bears' compliance dept, he was quoted in his press conference yesterday at the Spring Meetings that "obviously we got a lot". And, yes, that look on Bjork's face when Freeze told Finebaum that he 'even ran that past Bjork first' was priceless. That was most definitely not rehearsed.
