Doesn't really matter at this point.
Something like this is ALWAYS the beginning of the end.

I just feel bad for poor Houston Nutt. He's having a hard enough time finding a HCing job and now this.

Think: They will receive more penalties than the self imposed.
Hope: They will receive much less than what Alabama received.
No fun as a fan knowing your team has very little chance of being competitive for a few years. At his stage of my life I don't wish that on fans of any school.
Even a fan a "lower" program can have some level of anticipation going into a season, even if it may not be realistic. But when big sanctions are handed down, even fans of traditional powers know it is going to be a long year...or 4.
Ole Miss being strong has made the season more exciting, and disappointing
. I say the same about any program who may have been down for awhile and then has an increase of success.
Good Luck, I am afraid Ole Miss is going to get hit fairly hard. And if Freeze is not able to survive, the recovery may take longer due to the additional changes.

My honest answer is
16 scholarships over 4 years. (5 for two years, 3 for two years) this is 2 for each of the admitted Level I violations.
One year postseason ban. Im on the fence on this. It will either be one or none on a bowl ban
Forfeiture of all games that the Saunders fraudsters played in. Don't think this is in doubt.

The accusations seem far worse than those of sc a few years ago with Bush, so I don't know how OM and their fans can expect a punishment any less than was giving to SC who was the bell cow of the PAC12 and the west Compare to OM who is a big deal in northwest Mississippi...

Some schollies, administrative stuff, may have to fire some staff and dissociate some boosters.

My hope is not built on Ole Miss penalties. Football is entertainment, a distraction. No more, no less. I hope NCAA is eventually shuttered and we can move forward with more openness regarding pay for players in revenue producing sports.
