I mean he met with our coaches yesterday and last night, some of our 2017 commits were there to hear him announce. I just can't buy him going to Cal and not only succeeding academically but not getting homesick either.

Remember, it isn't over until he enrolls........since he will not be signing an LOI, he is still free to change his mind and enroll at another school......provided he doesn't sign any scholarship papers

It's hard to believe if he didn't have the grades/test scores to get into Stanford, that he could get into Cal. Cal is pretty academically prestigious in its own right.
