Not gonna lie, I passed out before tip off. Wife turned on Grey's Anatomy and that was it.
Great win, but can we talk about Chuck for a second? Most analyst try to hide their biases, Barkley puts a damn parade float up at his desk

Chuck is paid to be an entertainer, not an analyst. He is to analyst what the Harlem Globetrotters are to professional basketball players
Chuck has some insightful analysis and knows basketball, but that's not why they bring him in the studio

They went cold because Pearl changed the tempo of the game. Wanted to slow it down to reserve energy. Don’t read too much into it.
NC is a huge challenge no matter what and will be favored to win as they should be. Competition naturally is going to get much more better now. This will be a huge game and what we all hoped we could be a part of when Pearl was hired.
Great times for Auburn BB

I like that answer.

They are also deep
I've seen them play a few times this year. Against anyone with a pulse they are basically 6 deep. They'll go smaller and switch out Garrison Brooks for Little then the other 4 will play almost the entire game. They are well conditioned and Cam Johnson is a beast but they aren't invincible. I'd much rather play them than a healthy Kentucky.

Shout out to the coaches (and Stephen Pearl in particular) for the game plan against KU, and to our guys for executing it. It seems like we have game planned really well for our opponents in March, and I expect to come out with a good plan against UNC. I said a couple weeks ago that if we went to the SEC championship game and lost, and went to the 16, I'd consider this season a resounding success. Especially considering where we were just a couple months ago. But now that we're past that, let's just see how far we can go. UNC is beatable if we are rested and execute.

I agree with this 100%. Auburn could have scored 100+ on Kansas but for what? That first game against NMST taught us a lot about conserving energy.
UNC will be a fun game and a hell of a challenge. I feel our guards can play with them even with the size advantage they will have. It should be interesting to see how Bruce decides to play UNC.
I don't know for sure that we didn't heavily recruit Garrison Brooks but I wish we could have gotten him. His mom was at Auburn when I was and I know she LOVES AU like we all do.

Someone mentioned it last night but Kansas came out the second half shooting well, 6-6 and had 16 points within 5 min.
But Auburn scored I think like 5-5 for 15.
When you're up by 26 at the half and you've got to get up because you know they're going to come out punching, thats hard. So it was a really impressive performance by auburn at that important moment, maybe they are final 4 quality

While i expect UNC to win, I wouldn't be so quick to assume they will win.
UW plays the Syracuse 2-3 zone, arguably better than Syracuse this year. UNC wasn't great vs Syracuse this year despite playing at home. UNC isn't filled with shooters and can be turnover prone. It could get interested

I watched the Duke UNC game when Zion went out and after watching Auburn I was stunned how neither shot the 3 much at all.

UNC has not impressed that much so far against Wash. What say ye?

They’re way looser with the ball than one would think.
Luke Maye is going to give us fits.

Kenny Williams just pulled up holding his hammy. Hmm.

Well, looks like UNC is the next blue-blood brave enough to jump in the ring with us.
How do you guys think we match up? Based on today’s game looked to me like we’ll be able to turn them over some, but they seem to be able to match pace with us, and as always we’ll be undersized.

Are we going to have to beat the refs too? My impression is UNC always gets the calls.

UNC is the blueblood version of NMSU
Good not great at everything before the shot on Off/Def...... Absolutely elite at rebounding
They are basically a KenPom 30-40 Off/def whose rebounding makes them a top 10 off/def
