He kind of has a point. Education in the south and especially lower income communities is atrocious.

Let's face it, our region is dumb as a bag of hammers.

David Shaw sounds like a Big Time Bitch and if he ever wants to catch these hands I'm just a phone call away

In case you were wondering, here are Stanford's "admission requirements"

LINK

There were at least two people in my graduating high school class that woulda qualified. I would have if I wasn't a lazy piece of garbage.

So, to sum this up. An NFL coaches son, who received a B.A. in Sociology on a football scholarship, more or less calls people from the south stupid.

You have to be pretty damn dumb to step on that limb without more than a bullshite degree to back it up.

For 2016 he offered more scholarships to Texas players than those in his home state.

That's weird considering nearly 1/3 of his roster is from the south.

Including a half dozen from Louisiana... You know... The state ranked 49th in education. What a butthurt disingenuous prick.

quote:

The new students come from 49 U.S states – Rhode Island not included – and 56 countries.

quote:

Class of 2016 by the numbers
The largest group of incoming students – 38.1 percent – graduated from California high schools.

The next top five regions represented in the class are the South (15.1 percent); international students and U.S. students who completed high school studying abroad (9.7 percent); the Mid-Atlantic (9.2 percent); Far West – Oregon, Washington, Alaska and Hawaii (8 percent); and the Mid-West (7.8 percent). The other regions are Mountain States (6.3 percent); New England (3.7 percent); and the Great Plains (1.8 percent).

Not only do they get students from the south, but we're the largest contributor (by a pretty healthy margin) to their incoming 2016 student body outside of California.

Is Shaw really going to pretend that Stanford athletes don't get preferential treatment with admissions?
