If his players were better then we may have more interest.

"Dear @OleMissFB thanks for not offering my kids. I can't wait for their teams to schedule you in the future. "

"Dear @Coach_Conides congrats on applying for MSU's Director of Player Personnel via Twitter. "

I suspect the real story is this line: "When you feel like your kid has been taken for a ride, you need to call it out." Sounds like there was a miscommunication somewhere along the line.

I understand it's complicated but it's never good to piss off an in-state HS coach. Derek Dooley managed to make HS coaches here hate us and we paid for it. Who knows what might've happened with Jalen Ramsey or Von Bell (who was a UT fan) were it not for Dooley pissing off TN HS coaches and neglecting our in-state best recruits?

Some HS coaches get a little big for their britches. I understand looking out for your players, but colleges shouldnt' feel obligated to recruit a kid just because he's in the state. Ultimately it's about what's best for these high school KIDS and pissing off the home team is doing them a disservice.

Reminds me of a few years back where we had a recruiting gaffe (somewhat our fault, also the fault of the recruit) and his HS coach publicly came out talking shite about UGA and richt and said that UGA wouldn't be allowed in his school anymore. Really dude? So if you've got a kid who really likes UGA and wants to meet with coaches he can't do that because you got your feelings hurt? That's just crappy man.

Oh and btw, that coach is now on staff with us lol.

Coach may have a point.
