He's come out and said that she made hurtful remarks about his deceased nephews. While that may be the case, it is still absolutely disgusting to see a grown man throw haymakers at a defenseless woman. This has nothing to do with Mississippi State, he wasn't even at the program yet. I don't expect Mullen to keep him around

there are many lessons to be learned here. Jeffrey Simmons will learn a lesson from this. and hopefully, the fan bases of schools that actually celebrate when something like this happens to a rival school will learn that it will eventually happen to them as well, and they will reap what they sow. good luck to simmons, and state college as they harvest what they have sewn.

quote:In no way shape or form does that make it anywhere near excusable. So I don't know why it was even brought up.

He'll fit in perfectly at East Mississippi Community College.

Honestly, he shouldn't get that opportunity. I have no remorse for people who hit women.

in no way was I insinuating that it was excusable. You obviously didn't read rhe rest of my post. I was giving further details on the situation since a link had been provided but yet several people were asking what happened.

I wasn't saying you were. I was saying that Simmons was. Simmons brought up that she was saying things about his family members. I was saying there is no reason for him to bring that up because it in no way shape or form excuses his actions.

Oh my b. But yeah I agree. If something is "no excuse", then what's the point of bringing it up? He obviously thought it was at least a little bit of an excuse if he felt the need to bring it up

If it's as bad as people say he should never set foot on campus at State. I don't care how many stars he has. If we keep him around I'll lose all respect for Mullen.

Agreed, he should be in jail.

Honestly, he had no reason to hit her. If they really wanted to hurt her, just have the girl in red sit on her.
I needed her to raise up her hands to tell if she was walking or rolling.

He shouldn't be allowed in the SEC. Eventually, the conference needs to make an example of someone doing this shite. Bama and Taylor was the example for transfers. This needs to be the example for recruits. Do stupid shite like this and you never get to represent any school in this conference.
