It's stupid not to recognize Bertman's run as comparable to saban's ... The popularity of the sport is inconsequential ...

LSU found a sport in college baseball no one cared about in the 1990's. They were getting destroyed in football so they put a disproportionate amount of effort into college baseball compared to other schools so they dominated.

Saban's run is infinitely better because everyone tries at college football. No one tries or cares about college baseball. The end.

The popularity is absolutely important. Schools don't put effort into 3rd tier sports that make them no money.

I said it very plainly. LSU found a sport no one cared/cares about and put a disproportionate amount of effort into it because they were getting embarrassed in football year after year. They decided to hang it's hat a sport they could dominate at because no one else cares.

You disagree. The end.

From the millions they have made in football. If Bama cares about baseball we would have gotten a new coach a decade ago.

all we did was hire a coach and he started winning. I don't know where you're getting this "disproportionate effort" theory from

They both have the most impressive resumes as a coach in their respective sports.

That's the black and white answer you're looking for.

so they building a new stadium for a sport they don't care about? My God I hope for the sake of people around you that your responsibilities in life are very limited.

Nobody gives a frick about womens college bball but everyone would agree Pat Summit had and will still have a better resume' than Saban once he hangs it up.
I disagree for the same reason I think Sarah Patterson is not to the level of Saban. The quality of competition for the majority of their tenures in WBB and gymnastics aren't close to the same level as what is currently seen in football.

what is it with l5u fans and their obsession with incest? is it just so common in your parts that you automatically assume it's part of everyones life?

i've lived in Alabama 57 years, don't even know of a case of incest. Just because you were raised in it doesn't mean you can justify it by saying "evrybody else does it."
