I'm pretty sure we all agree that our defense will be legit. Let's say our offense gets turned around and we average 30-35 a game and we make it back to Atlanta and actually win the SEC.
How would people view Pinkel when he couldn't get us over the hump and Odom did it on the 1st try?

Well, you're getting a little ahead of yourself. But I'll play along.
We'll say something like, bad coaching and GP was too hardheaded/loyal. Which should not be a surprise to any Tiger fan.

BO would be winning with Gary's guys. I said by 2018 we would be back in ATL. So times things don't bounce your way.

Which could add 'some' credibility to BO being a better CEO than GP....kinda like what Mich did last year; Harbaugh winning with someone else's guys.

If the season played out that way, I'd certainly give Odom and the new coaches a deep bow from the waist for pushing the boulder to the top of the mountain. But I'd remember that Pinkel lifted it up from the bottom and pushed it a good way towards the summit before he tired out.

We wouldn't have been able to hire Odom as DC if we were a middle of the pack team. He was a very hot commodity when he was at Memphis.
Pinkel was great for our program and Odom could get us over the hump. If we win the SEC, we salute both of them.

I'd love to win the SEC title. It would make me feel a little better after what happened in 2007.
